About Us
Involving industry personnel on the Boards and Technical Committees of these organisations with experience in planning and implementing research together with in-depth knowledge of cocoa production in different origin countries, agricultural and post-harvest technologies and the cocoa trade has enabled a highly successful 'hands-on' approach where the industry has been able to contribute its project management expertise, as well as its financial resources, to the research. It has also ensured that projects are focussed to generate results of commercial significance, reflect the needs of the world cocoa economy and that due consideration is given as to how the findings of the research can be implemented by organisations within producing countries to have practical impact for cocoa farming.
